I'm Vincent — a freelance blockchain infrastructure engineer with a focus on full-stack development and security-first architecture. FiroBlocks runs on self-managed infrastructure: a dedicated server with 8 vCPU and 32GB RAM, a fully-indexed firod node, and redundant private DNS across two servers — no third-party intermediaries, DDoS mitigation handled at the network level.
Keeping this infrastructure running costs around $30/month out of pocket. As a freelancer, my development time isn't free — any support directly funds both the server and active development. Not a company, just one engineer committed to giving the Firo ecosystem a better explorer.
Roadmap
Full Firo node synced with all indexes enabled. Custom NestJS API scaffolded for the firod RPC — no third-party middleware. Frontend prototype with core pages and routing.
Connecting the frontend to live data — real blocks, transactions, address lookups, and a live transaction feed. Network stats: hashrate, difficulty, supply and more.
Spark transaction visualization, masternode map and status, chainlock finality, and Lelantus analytics. Public API open to the ecosystem. Open sourced for community contributions and long-term maintenance.
